Medico-Legal assessments and psychometric reports regarding an individuals' cognitive functioning in relation to a Court matter can be provided for Government services, LegalAid, Guardianship, Criminal Law matters, Child Protection/Family Court matters and Mental Health Court matters. Assessments may also be conducted to more specifically determine the extent of possible brain damage, recovery profile or degree of impairment before or after client offending to assist the Court as requested.
To maintain independence and unbiased reporting, referrals (Terms of Reference / Letter of Instruction) are only accepted by legal practitioners, medical practitioners and third parties for medico-legal purposes.
Clinical neuropsychology assessments (intended for use in clinical situations, treatment or interventions) can be booked through Dr Zeeman's other consultancy at The READ Clinic, Erina (support@thereadclinic.com).
Legal Aid rates may be available as determined by the relevant Court matter. Comprehensive psychological reports for third party funding purposes are also conducted.
This is a private Neuropsychology Clinic located on the NSW Central Coast. Australia-wide services are now provided in person or via videolink/telehealth.

Experience:
Dr Zeeman has specialist experience in Medico-Legal neurocognitive assessment and reporting for fitness, soundness, capacity, and mitigation for clients who are legally represented.
She has over 25 years of experience in the fields of clinical neuropsychology (disability, traumatic brain injury, acquired brain injury), forensic neuropsychology, community rehabilitation and enriched environments.
Department of Communities and Justice, Child Safety Service matters are welcome to refer for parenting capacity assessment reports and family court reports.
Dr Zeeman is proficient in AMA Guides 5/6 for Independent Medical Examination (IME) assessments (inclusive of PIRS).
Qualifications and Expertise:
Dr Zeeman is extensively published in peer-reviewed journals and has produced over 100 research outputs spanning evidence-based medicine, cognitive rehabilitation, rehabilitation pathways and impact of injury and illness on everyday functioning.
